Oasis nelva is a charming creperie filled with green plants, pretty pots and other beautiful things that you can buy. the special cream recipe is vegan and you can choose between a filling with meat, fish or a vegan filling with vegetables, such as pumpkin red cabbage, aubergine, paprika and greens. it was one of the best meals we had during our stay in havanna. the witness was very friendly and for a beautiful chat. the atmosphere is very relaxed. we would find ourselves during our next trip to Cuba.
I find an Oasis cafe (with meat and vegetables options) on the same street as el shamuskia’o. not sure whether that is the same caffe as this, but they serve a vegetarian crepe. good taste with fresh look. 3 cuc. good choice after taking too many tomato and grken salat.
One of the few places in havanna where they do not find the ubiquitous Cuban **** and swan, the crepes and brote belong butter and milk ingredients, but taking into account how hard is a fully vegetarian - not to mention vegan place in Cuba, this place is an island in havana vieja. the menu has many fruit juices (fairly close to what outside would call a smoothie the brot fresh made, the oil is real olive oil that came as surprise. that is not a restaurant, so that portions are not big, but with so favorable trips, if they are really hungry, just double their order or pick up 2 different things and they will be in order. the outside looks like everything in Cuba, run them down and fall apart, but the interieur is cozy and with a view of the underfloor craftsmanship. updated from previous review on 2016-10-06
