Here for breakfast, a limited menu choice for breakfast items including prepacked baps. Service was good and when the baps were heated and delivered they tasted very fresh and good. So good quality food, satisfactory service but a limited menu.

This is a very basic cafe, no frills, just bare tables and chairs. Service is usually very slow even when there is no queue. Food varies, sometimes good, sometimes average, sometimes downright awful. We’ve given up on the jacket potatoes as they were inevitably dried up husks cooked in the morning and related to within an inch of their lives. Not recommended, especially at the price. We love their soups and enjoy the tomato soup particularly. Don't forget to ask for a little biscuit with your drink they don’t give them to you as a matter of course, only if you request one. At least it’s handy when I go shopping. Unfortunately they do seem to have regular appliance breakdowns such as the dishwashers or the ovens or microwaves. This means they can only serve drinks and cakes. Very frustrating.

Great location on the retail park and always a great smile from the staff. Even get samples sometimes. Usual M&S food served up and great selection. Great coffee!

The photos on the TripAdvisor site accurately represent the café, as it resembles a utilitarian warehouse canteen. However, it functions well as a café, offering good coffee and a limited selection of cakes, paninis, and toasted sandwiches. The service, while acceptable, can be slow and somewhat detached. The café received a 5-star rating from the Food Standards Agency during its last inspection in March 2023. The toilets are located at the back of the food hall. Overall, the café may not fully align with M&S brand values and does not necessarily make the food shop a top choice destination as one would expect from a marketing standpoint.

The changes implemented due to COVID have had an impact on the restaurant, particularly with the confusion surrounding the reopening of the store entrance. There is inadequate enforcement of mask wearing and no staff checking for compliance.
