When you pay you get a map of the groups with all the information on. Restrooms: Plenty of toilets situated around the grounds. Very well kept Dog-friendliness: Dogs are to be on leads, but saw plenty while there. Picnic area: There is a restaurant and seating area outside.
Beautiful gardens, lovely house although only a few rooms are open. Will visit again if I'm ever that way again. Staff all helpful.
Wonderful relaxed afternoon. Arrived in time for the 1pm otter talk, learnt lots, excellent speaker at the otter pool, then wandered about the small zoo, mainly birds, then the house, didn't bother paying extra for the tour, so limited to a few rooms on the ground floor. Trip to the cafe, then shop, then the lawn mower museum. Then a mooch around the gardens, lots to see even in October, walled garden excellent. Very quiet. The conclusion I came to why this place is worth a visit, is that the layout is well arranged, for 2 people, well over 21 and not fit this was great. Playground: Small playground, and a great board walk. Restrooms: Restrooms well spaced around park. Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly place. Picnic area: Nice picnic areas.
Just lovely and staff are great Restrooms: Clean and tidy Picnic area: There are plenty of tables and well situated around the area.
Had to prove your disability! Apparently your blue badge isn't enough evidence! Very snooty reception. The ladies at the castle and gift shop were lovely.
