Feedback gevenFortune House used to be our favorite Chinese takeout spot for many years. After it burned down, we tried The Great Wall in Gidea Park, which had a similar taste. When Fortune House reopened, we were thrilled to return. However, our last two deliveries were disappointing as the sweet and sour sauce had a strange overpowering liquorice or aniseed flavor that ruined the dishes that used it as a base. Unfortunately, we won't be returning until the sauce is back to its original recipe.
This Chinese takeaway in Romford is one of the best. Customers should place their order at least an hour in advance if they are hungry, or if they want to dine in, as the delivery service takes about an hour. However, the food's quality and taste are exceptional!
The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. As soon as I finished eating, I recommended this place to my family.
This is our regular chinese. we have been ordering from them for over 6 months and had no bad meal, it is always hot and bang at. highly recommended.
We waited hour and mins , so I phoned up and asked where has our meal got to , she said he’s coming and then told me thay would knock of from our next delivery , really don’t think so , so...I said just leave it as it’s a disgrace , won’t be useing these again terrible service
