Located within the Te Whiti Museum complex, an entrance fee to the museum is required. This charming rustic café draws inspiration from the book "Wind in the Willows," with framed illustrations adorning the walls that depict scenes from the story. The café offers a variety of cabinet food at reasonable prices, and the coffee is sourced from Allpress, expertly prepared by the barista. Note that the coffee is served as single shots, so you'll need to request additional shots for an extra 70 cents. I highly recommend the delicious vegetable quiche!

The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. The stunning artwork enhances the museum-like atmosphere. I will definitely be back!
