The Simonstone Hall - Hawes

Our Leonberger dogs, Treacle and Toffo, were treated with the same warmth and care as we were, making us feel completely at home. The bedding was incredibly comfortable – we slept well every night. We are definitely looking forward to returning. A special thank you to Sarah at the reception, who was incredibly helpful in making our stay possible, and to the staff who arranged an additional night for us even when the hotel was fully booked. They accommodated us with a smaller room but offered to rearrange the furniture to make more space for our dogs. The dining experience was outstanding – everything was freshly prepared and exceptionally tasty. Simonstone Hall is truly remarkable, and the management and owners should be very proud of their team. If they were my staff, I would be incredibly proud as well!

After a long, cold, and muddy walk, we arrived at Foot only to find the nearby pub was closed. Thankfully, we were greeted by friendly staff who placed chairs in front of the fire for us to dry our clothes. We were served delicious food quickly, along with a nice hot cup of sausage that was generously refilled. The place was lovely, and I would happily return in the future.

I had a fantastic experience during my surprise birthday trip at this establishment. We stayed in Room 4, which I highly recommend; it was spacious, the bed was massive, and the bathroom was impeccably clean. The view was breathtaking, truly excellent. The staff was friendly yet professional. We also dined at the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it; the food was delicious and the portion sizes were just right. Breakfast was equally impressive. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and hope to return soon!

We had a nice stay in simonstone hall, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. our children loved the enlightenment of the gardens and our dog also loved his stay and was very welcomed. I would highly recommend this hotel, we were in room 11, which had many beautiful period features that eating was very good to

Just got home after spending the weekend at simonstone hall for our 20th wedding anniversary truly a superb setting, room and view devine and staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble thanks would recommend highly for an extra special place with excellent location and service Caroline Matt
