Del Taco - Hawthorne

Almost perfect experience. An epic beyond fresh Guac Burrito. Red sauce was really good, better than other Del Taco experiences, and had fresh Cilantro throughout. Unfortunately, a little light was on the Guac, which was mainly distributed to the ground. Through the journey and was in and out in about 90 seconds. Dude on the microphone and payment was polite and efficient. Great stuff.

Today dropped into this Del Taco site for one of their amazing burgers (I know, I know, but listen – they are good). Cashier was super friendly, Pommes were probably the most golden ones I met and salted to perfection. If you are ever in sunny Inglewood, fall in! The parking is not great because the restaurant DIRECTLY is next to a Walmart. But unlike that, great experience! 1/31/20 revisit review Another 5-star visit! I have a little adventurous at this second visit and tried the Craft Tacos (fish and steakhouse). The Baja fish was great, with pickled onions and Guac. At $2.89 by itself, I think $2.59 would be a better price point. It's not really that much. The fish was also good not to draw too much attention for yourself, while also the buttery golden crunch you want from a fish taco. The steakhouse taco was a mess, but I don't blame this place – they work with subpar ingredients. Del taco, after all, is a fast food restaurant and fast food restaurants are notorious to try to beat over their weight in Arenenen, they have no business in (sans the double Del Cheeseburger of course, which is a national treasure and should get at all costs). If you are lucky, you will receive Daisy as your employee to help you. She's the best.

Del Taco has been my favorite Mexican branch for over 40 years. Dependent menu and food.
