Feedback gevenI love classic soul food, so I decided to check this place out. I ordered the fried chicken leg and thigh dinner for $16, along with a side of cornbread for $2. The cornbread is quite generous, about the size of my hand.
With 29 years of experience in soul food cooking, Mr. Ray serves up perfectly seasoned crabs, shrimp, chicken, beef links, gumbo, and golden-brown fried turkey that transported me straight to heaven. Shawn’s red snapper, cooked with a smile, was a delightful treat. I truly enjoyed my visit to this cherished establishment.
