I tried this place when they swapped owners and the food smelled and tasted off. I feel like they were trying to sell old rice. I asked about the change in prices and the owner got offended. He started arguing with me over inflation and whatever. I just don't feel like their food is worth $15-$16 anymore. India Tandoori Halal is way better for the same price
Still the best biryani and the portion is enough for 2. But you need to get something else to balance it out as eating just biryani is quite fatiguing.Food: 5/5
Great food, Large portions, Cheap, Friendly customer serviceFood: 5/5
The taste and flavor has gone down while price more than doubled. Biryani is dry. I have been patron on and off for 8 years now from the time they were at Culver City when they priced Biryani for $7 cash. Now 14$+tax+tip.. Former owners had heart in this business and it showed.Well, it was good till it lasted. Adios for good. PS: please add cutlery and napkin for takeout, or at least ask.
The biryani and karhai are always possibly the closest you can get to what it taste like back in Karachi. They are awesome.
