The Convent - HAY

Stunning convent conversion with huge size rooms. Super clean and lovely and warm. Only a stroll to the local pub for dinner. Exceptional customer service. Shower was super hot and clean. Breakfast and coffee were delicious. A must visit, highly recommend!

Convent burger was great, the way burgers were way back before the large M. My only criticism would be the flavoured salt on the chips, what’s wrong with plain salt or maybe ask for a preference. The building is lovely, it was pleasant looking out over the garden from the verandah. Toilets were clean.

Driving through Hay on a Sunday, with our massive caravan, found this Sensational Cafe!!!! Did not dissappint at all. Great lunch, consisting of pumpkin soup, lasagne, quiche and a schnitzel burger 10/10. Great menu, beautiful homestead to admire, top shelf service, and relaxing atmosphere. Definetly will be back. Well done

Best burger of my life in all honesty (Convent Burger)… Charming staff and lovely environment. Would make a great boozer if they served alcohol and stayed open late!
