The food is run of the mill, which is as much a compliment as it is criticism; well, it could be worse. The portions and the value are both reasonable. The aspects of Asakaze that detract from a decent experience are the service, with the servers seeming less than interested and aggravated, and the ambience. On balance, we are not likely to revisit Asakaze, Chinatown, unfortunately, in part due to it being part of a food court and, in part, due to the poor service.

Definitely one of the better Japanese establishments within Market City. CHICKEN KATSU DON: Always prepared fresh and piping hot when it comes out.
Love the taku yaki balls and other similar quick bites they have here.
