Crystal Palace Brasserie - Haymarket

A rather underwhelming meal. This pub definitely needs a major revamp, it is rather outdated and it has a horrible toilet cleaner smell inside. We braved this as we ordered the food as someone said the food wasn't too bad here. Ordered the Thurs special of mixed seafood with chips for $15 then sat outside as the strange indoor smell was a bit too overwhelming. They gave us a buzzer which didn't work and the chef ended up coming to find us outside. Food was still warm, chips had a dryness to it and the battered fish had a very fishy flavour to it. Friend ordered the garlic bread and spaghetti, they didn't mind it but it looked like something I can make at home for better. Overall there are other pubs around where the food is fresher and where it doesn't smell like your in the toilet.

The salat worst I have ever seen mixed rotted salat leaves, gott bless that you could live after eating. Worse than the quality of the taste, the attitude of the workers and manager there, they do not accept any complaining if they do not like the unfresh food they put on their table, it is their fault, and it is your taste error. in any case, do not expect to replace court or refund, or excuse them from them. from the second when they entered the pub, they deserve what they would get. bless you.
