Gelatissimo - Haymarket

Wonderful selection of ice cream plus the odd sorbet. Makes it difficult to choose so I had to try the green tea ice cream but ended up with traditional favourites of cookies and cream and pistachio in a waffle cone. $5 for a single scoop, $7 for two and $8 for three makes me think I should have just gone the trifecta. That's post-purchase dissonance for you.

Ordered the veronese chocolate. It was good. Tasted like ferrero chocolate in gelato forms. The place is quite small. Overall nice gelato.

Salted caramel & pistacchio gelato on a mid-day stroll to the markets ... found this little gem by accident so glad I did... the staff were delightfully friendly and great selection of icecream I'll be returning to try the licorice gelato

Noticed this place every time when I stayed at the Breekfree on George because it located just right opposite to the Sussex Street entrance. Felt like to have something cold to drop down my body temperature after a long walk back from QVB. Tried a taste on mango...wow! It was too sweet for me then try a taste of passion fruit..OK ...that is the sourness that I like. Had a scoop of passion fruit with cone and took a seat inside the little area of the shop. While I was enjoying my sweet, I found that this little place was quite busy with customers come and go for sweet. As what I said, life is so easy in Australia, you will be right for living as long as you are hard-working....

I wasn't really aware of Gelatissimo's presence in Chinatown. Was on my way to a movie, when I stumbled into this place. Couldn't resist a dessert! This place has a nice feel to it, with a bit of seating inside. But good luck finding a  chair though, especially on a weekend! I went for a single flavour in a cup - Chocolate Truffle. The quantity was ample, though. And the taste, as good as ever! This is likely to be my go-to place for desserts! Food - 4.5/5 Ambiance - 4.5/5 Service - 5/5 Value for money - 4/5 Overall - 4.5/5
