Frequented by Sydneys top chefs, after knock off, it is a lunch time venue, dinner venue and late night venue. Wonderful for big groups with very generous serving sizes. Seafood always top grade and super fresh.
This restaurant in Chinatown is a well-known establishment. Despite never having visited before, a friend and I decided to try it out for some authentic Chinese cuisine. While they are renowned for their seafood dishes, we opted for some more average menu items such as salt and pepper tofu, deep-fried duck in plum sauce, and braised two kinds of mushrooms with vegetables. The food was all delicious and above average in taste. The service was prompt and attentive. However, the prices were quite high and not necessarily justified by the taste alone. This is a place best reserved for special occasions.
This Chinese seafood restaurant in Sydney is one of the best. I have been here for business meetings, dates, and even for a hangover cure, and the food never disappoints. The duck pancake, crab, lobster, and Pipis are all fantastic. If you order these dishes, you will have a truly enjoyable dining experience. I would give this place 4 stars.
Golden Century is a popular seafood restaurant in Haymarket. It’s the original restaurant opened by the Golden Century Group. We ordered mud crab and pipis again, can’t get enough of seafood!
Came here on a Friday night and ordered the cod with veggies and the beef black pepper. The prices here are pricey $84 total with two dishes and two bowls of rice. There’s cheaper options around but the flavours here were delicious. The cod was really soft and the sauce was silky and had a mushroom flavour. They also gave complimentary soup and dessert (oranges and Chinese biscuits). I wouldn’t mind coming back again!
