Feedback gevenI'm always craving dim sumSomething about little bite size morsels hahaOf course, especially in Chinatown, I had to give it a go.
I've been coming here for over twenty five yearsThe food is fast and efficient and not as pricey as East Ocean or Marigold.
Well, I had been to a number of Thai restaurants while I was in Sydney (which probably had something to do with my recent trip to Thailand) so I decided
I booked the Yum cha lunch with the set menu for a group and asked if they can set the price for each person within our budget. I spoke to one of staff named Jason and he is very helpful and understanding. His response is better than any other Yum Cha restaurant in Sydney City area. My work friends and I did enjoy the food and the service. The food were delicious and the service was excellent. They didn't serve us like other chinese restaurant, if you have been to busy chinese restaurant. They serves us with courtesy and polite. We highly recommended this restaurant.
We took some friends that were new to Australia for a yum cha experience. We had been here many times before and enjoyed the food, service was always good. Well things have certainly changed. Food was mediocre, some of the dishes were cold, the salt and pepper squid was oily and soggy, the steamed pork buns were all dough and no filling, the dim sims were tough and chewy. One of our party had jim beam and coke, the glass was half full, the mixer stirred at the table with a straw and dumped on the table by the waiter. Gross. And talk about bill shock at the end of the meal. It was expensive and certainly not worth the money. We wont be returning. What a disappointing first time experience for our friends.
