Gong Cha - Haymarket

I usually walk through tunnels so this place is quite hard to find. The smol little shop was crowded by queues at 2.30pm. I ordered White pearls and Aiyu special and received something tasted like lemon juice with white pearls and aiyu jelly. I expected the white pearls to be chewy but in fact it's the opposite ???? anw, the texture of the pearls is good enough, kinda like jelly but a bit harder.

Sweet asian man who may have taken my order wrong. He was happy for me to try it and make me a new one if necessary. Allll good. I couldnt tell to be honest, all i know is its a thirst quencher. Lychee without Aloe but extra passionfruit!!!

There are many bubble tea stores in Chinatown and they were great places to get nonalcoholic teas. Try them if you were around Chinatown. They are really good!

I would give it a negative score if I could.  This is easily the worst milk tea I have had in and outside of Australia.  I ordered Taro milk tea with pearls, I got something look and taste like soupy dishwasher water.  The colour looked strange to start with, it had a greyish muddy tone to it.  After only one sip, I almost threw the whole drink away. It was thin, watery, tasteless and pearls were tiny.  Worst of all it had this artificial taste that lingered on the palate after each sip similar to the taste of sweetener.  I persisted for a few more sips and eventually threw the thing away. Recommended to try the signature tea and remember to add some pearl in it to add more fun. The staff i met that day is not that friendly, but in exchange she made my drink super quick and i didn't have to wait for so long.
