You got 2 wings and 3 squid balls per serve. The wings were quite big, crispy (of course, they were fried twice!!!) and quite tasty but the squid balls were disappointing. Cheap brand maybe???????????? and they don't add any seasoning/sauce on it... ps: if you like chili, they don't have chilli sauce ????♀️
Just wow! I was walking down George St when I noticed there was a sample on the bench of 'tempura'. I have no idea what type it was and when I asked the guy at the counter in broken English replied 'tempura'. I decided to place an order of the Taiwanese Chicken bites. It cost $6.50 for a small bag (slightly pricey imo). The flavour tastes similar to Hot Star chicken. The chicken was juicy packed with flavour. It didn't take long for my order to be ready as well which is a plus. Overall, this would be a person's deep fried goodness dream, you can deep fry anything they have on offer. The staff aren't super friendly and or helpful but if you get past that then you should be fine. I would like to come back here to try their big pieces of chicken.
Best halal fried chicken I've tried to date! Not too oily and very juicy! Good flavour as well! It's great to finally find a halal fried chicken store around the Sydney CBD on George Street! :D I'll definitely come back for more with my friends and family! It does take some time to cook, but honestly, it's worth it in the end to fill up my tummy! :)
This is the most consistent fried chicken joint in the city! Better than Cheers and Hot Star. It is even better for the fact that it is in a convenient location. I can go here for lunch and for dinner or for a drunken late night snack! The meal deals are pretty decent and the milk tea is not bad. Cooking is a bit slow but that is because everything is made fresh. Prices are not bad either. The only thing missing is getting me to dress as the Just Fry chicken! ** My considerations: 1. Food 2. Value 3. Service 4. Atmosphere. All weighed evenly but Food/Value receive more weight when a tiebreaker is required! My scale: Take note that this is of course all based on my unqualified opinion! 5: Extraordinary and should never be dished out easily. 4.5: The benchmark and I would travel to eat here. 4: Excellent. First option when making food plans. 3.5: Would settle here if I stumbled across it or it was busier elsewhere. 3: Average and not in a rush to come back. 2.5: Edible but not coming back. 2: Falling short of expectation in 3 of my 4 considerations. 1: They should shut up shop. **
