Shipleys - Haymarket

Stayed in Sydney for the Vivid light festival so came here for breakfast. Selection was great with a wide ethnic choice for all. Salads, cold meats, continental, eggs, bacon , sausages (veal were fantastic) juices, breads and pastries. Seated quickly and asked if we would like coffee. We then went to the buffet selection. Coffee was waiting on our table when we got back. Great service and good COFFEE...

Can get crowded at times. Food selection is decent. They have a juicer, which seems popular with people who eat there.

Very large range of food for breakfast, including very crispy streaky bacon and "normal" bacon, so that was a good idea. The room is bit noisy with the hard floor.

We had breakfast buffet during our stay at Holiday Inn Darling Harbour. The breakfast had a very good selection to choose from, which would suit most people, I believe they do have gluten free options (as I saw a notice on the wall when I went to make my toast - to let them know if you wish gluten free). It was good value mainly because we got a good deal on breakfast for each day during our stay, if I had to pay the standard rate I would looked at other places closely.

2 restaurants at this hotel & both are really good. Breakfast was plentiful with a huge choice. Didn't try room service.
