Southern Classic Chicken - Haynesville

The chicken at this restaurant was hot, fresh, and delicious! I especially enjoyed the sweet corn grits. Everything was excellent! The staff was so genuinely kind and humble that we tried to leave them a tip, but they politely declined and asked for prayers instead. The meal was truly awesome! I highly recommend the Fried Chicken, Roll, Cajun Rice, Sweet Corn Grits, Honey Mustard, Side of Gravy, and French Fries. Service, atmosphere, and food all received a perfect 5-star rating. This is a great spot for a lunch meal, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person.

I'm not sure what chicken the other reviewers were eating, but I personally believe that the chicken I had at this restaurant was delicious. It was well-seasoned and peppery, and definitely one of the best I've had in years. Everyone has different tastes, but I would definitely drive miles for this chicken.

It is hard for me to pass a southern classic chicken joint without stopping and getting something. I ordered the 12 piece dark chicken only meal and the lady at the window told me I would have to wait about 10 minutes for fresh chicken. I happily waited the 10 minutes and she was nice enough to offer me a snack, or a free drink while I waited. Get you some southern classic it keeps you coming back.
