Feedback gevenWe were seated fairly quickly and the glasses were extra filthy. The hostess came to grab them and never replaced them. As we sat for 10 minutes trying to get someone to come help us, I noticed that the table was very filthy also. Every single butter in the butter tray was open like bad clams. Both of our stomach's began to turn and we decided to just get up and leave. The menu didn't make much sense either. Seems like something a very young and inexperienced chef threw together without much research on pairing savory with fresh pairings.
I really wanted to love this place. The food was phenomenal but there were so many fruit flies and regular flies that it spoiled our whole meal and experience. We literally had to cover our water and plates with napkins while we were eating and flies were landing on the napkins. I know sometimes restaurants have fruit fly issues but the part that prevents me from giving them 5 stars is the fact that our server watched us swatting away flies to entire time and she didn’t even offer to move us. The owner apologized for the flies which was nice but if someone had just offered to move our table the problem would’ve been solved and I would’ve given a 5 star rating. The server even made a comment to us that she thinks the flies were just really bad in the area they sat us. Super disappointing.
Mac and cheese not seasoned. Fish was good but the whole experience as a soul food type of spot is not am accurate description. Green had stalks included. Breakfast items are good
Always good food. The owner Jerome goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great time.
Bathroom and environment is dirty. Food was ok I expected more. Service was the only thing on point.
