Worst customer service! Don't go there if you want a good dining experience. Arrogant staff members! Unfortunately Google hasn't got a zero star option.

Wanted to have lunch today and Cascada was closed for renovations so crossed the road to base camp, entered and ready to order. Had no face mask so offered to show my exception. The low-life behind the counter said that's ok providing you're double vaxed. Walked out and went to the Feathers where we had a great meal, and no hassles about mask and vax status. Will never go to base camp again. No time for bigots like that who openly discriminate due to vax status.

Great coffee, especially welcome after a hike at Cleland!Good place to catch up with friends. It was busy but the staff were wonderful.

Foods and drink were okay but the male waitress was unfriendly today. A bit dissapointment because we were there after lunch and that place was not busy. I won't come back there again for sure and I don't recommend this place to my family and friends.

So was just refused service here on the basis of not wearing a mask upon entry. Can someone here please explain to me the difference in wearing a mask while standing and being served and that of sitting without a mask being served? Explain to me the logic please. Do Covid molecules only operate effectively at higher altitude?
