Five Star Chinese Resturant - Hazleton

Does not look the least bit appealing on the outside. We are very skeptical about going in soon however, it was some of the best Chinese food I have had for quite a long time. Fresh food was constantly being brought out. My only qualm about this restaurant what is the price. It was $20 each. I guess the reason being it's because they do have crab legs on the Buffet. However, when they bring them out, they bring very few at a time and people scarf them right up. I was waiting in the line and they brought a very small amount out And I saw two men take all of them. That was last time I saw any crab at legs being brought out. Not fair and not a fair price if you don't get any crab legs there is no way this is worth $20 I had. There's a really good selection of dishes, including a sushi bar and hibachi. Will definitely go back.

Me and my grandmother used to come here all the time, idk about the service I they don't really serve you they just sit you down and give you drinks but we loved it the food is good and she loved the peanuts.

Always go here hungry cause there are so many options on the buffet. I always start with sushi, then clams. It's super hard to get the crab legs, as they only put a few out and they're gone. They do have a hibachi where you can select your meat, veggies and other staples. I always finish with ice cream.

So I'm going to agree with one of the comments I saw up here.I came after my little sister graduation the food was not bad the issue was the workers especially the guy at the sushi bar I asked about one of the rolls and he told me to read the sign I said that was rude so now u won't get a tip he said no tip o well and waves his hands as like for me to go away and then the other employees in the back thought that was funny VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE so I thought I would share my experience with anyone so they can see if you want a place with good customer service then I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Service was prompt! Our server was attentive and consistently on the move, so we never had to wonder where she was. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional! I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was—truly fantastic! Everything was fresh, as they had a food line attendant using a microphone to call for refills when needed. Such a smart system! The general ambiance was pleasant—it was busy, but in a comfortable way. I did notice a few customers eating while waiting at the stir fry station, which was a bit annoying, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault; it’s simply the customers’ lack of consideration. The tables were comfortable too! The dessert station was also impressive. I highly recommend bringing a friend or even a group of six! I plan to make this place a regular haunt.
