Sonic Drive-in - Hazleton

This is as our first time at a Sonic and if this is representative of their service will be our last.Ordered and paid online to make things easier- arrived and parked at any stall as directed, then told to go to drive up, then had to park and wait for food. Food as not hot, we were missing an order of tenders, and the Sprite Zero was really zero as it was just the soda water.A HUGE disappointment...

Sonic, just close this place already. I've been traveling this stretch of road for years. I've stopped here maybe a dozen times, trying my luck, and their ice cream machine is always broken. They have fried food, and that's about it. If you pull up to the stalls, if they're working, they tell you to go to the drive through.If you want some tater tots, I guess go ahead, but if you want any ice cream... you know, most of their menu, just go to the turkey hill next door. At least they have stuff there consistently.

Stopped by the front door was hanging open. No one was in the restaurant no workers at all. The place looks run down as hell. Is this place even open?

Listen, the food here is pretty good. At least the sonic blasts are. Really the only thing I get any more. But for the love of God, they really need to do something about the service and wait time. Drive through is horrendous....tried ordering online pickup, said to go to a stall and ring buzzer. Nobody came ...went to drive thru, waited forever, in fact still waiting and I was able to make this review. And based on these recent reviews....it doesn't look like this has been escalated to the franchise owner, or they just don't care. Pretty sad.

Ordered the new pulled pork BBQ burger, got home and no burger, but was charged for it. Ordered large sides, got medium. Ordered 2 combos, with milkshakes, only one was made a combo. And when we pulled into the drive in spot, we were told to go to the drive thru to order. It was my boyfriend's first time there and it wasn't a good first impression. And the drive thru speaker kept cutting out so neither side could hear the first time. Needs to get better.
