This was recommended as an interesting place to try beautiful wines because they have a record player and you are able to play albums. It was such a beautiful day that we decided to sit on the terrace instead of inside with the turntable. It is a pleasant environment with good wine, but we do not feel that we got the same guided journey through the wine tasting that we visited in the other two wine tasting rooms we visited. It was a good experience, but not especially unforgettable.
Another great find for fans of Pinot Noir. They won't find this wine anywhere else, and they're employees are super knowledgeable. You have a good interior and exterior decor in the shade, you can even bring food to enjoy together with your tasting!
Amazing experience! If I could give more stars I would. We stumbled upon this place while wandering around Healdsburg after lunch and were treated to a spectacular tasting afternoon. We were the only people there so we sat inside (lovely and cool, although they have a nice outdoor tasting area too) and one of the owners was pouring and knows SO much about the area in addition the grapes and of course their wine. Very fun music too!
Pinots on the Plaza! I'd previously been to Roadhouse for a tasting before the pandemic and before they expanded their space, and I really enjoyed their Pinots. There's just so much good wine in this town and not enough time! On our recent walk home from dinner on a Saturday we were thrilled to see them still open and offering wines by the glass so we popped in. There was 1 red and 1 white available for $15/glass. We opted for the luscious red, a Leras Vineyard Pinot Noir (I think this is the Pink Label bottle) and it was absolutely delicious! Fun fact: the Papapietro Perry team also makes a Leras Vineyard Pinot. Roadhouse's expanded tasting room space is light and bright with comfortable seating options, cool music-inspired art, vinyl records for playing, and vinyl records for sale! If you like Pinots and want to taste some special ones in town, do pay them a visit.
