Lodge Pole Grill - Heber City

I've visited this restaurant several times, and although the atmosphere isn't overly complicated or extravagant, there are many aspects that consistently leave me feeling happy. The ambiance, service, meals, staff, and even the local well water never fail to satisfy. Some of my favorite dishes include the top hamburger, the country-fried steak, and the salmon, each of which I would rate 4 out of 5, especially considering you’re not dining at Ruth's Chris. It's a great value for the price. Additionally, there are many impressive mountain-themed artworks. My wife particularly enjoys sitting by one of the two fireplaces, which enhances our dining experience!

Forrest made our visit unforgettable as he accommodated our large family for my dad's birthday weekend. We had several rooms, two of which had a connecting door, making it convenient for us. Our rooms were close to the pool, which the kids loved and was open until 11:00 PM. We rented an ATV and started our adventure right from the lodge, enjoying the stunning mountain views together. We also dined at the on-site restaurant, sampling a variety of dishes among our group of 17, and everything was delicious! We enjoyed meals there three times—breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The general store on the property was also very convenient; I was able to leave my nephew with some snacks at 9:05 AM, even though it closed at 9:00 AM. The entire staff was friendly, and the lodge and surrounding property were beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay!

We returned this year for my birthday and brought the kids along for another wonderful weekend, and I was just as happy as I was last time; I wouldn’t change a thing! This charming lodge has become my favorite place to visit. If I could offer a small suggestion, it would be to add a hot cocoa bar in the lounge area, similar to the hot tea bar. Also, the hot tub could use a bit more cleaning, as there was quite a bit of sand in it. But other than that, it's truly perfect! It has become a tradition for me, and I plan to come back every December for my birthday.

Highly recommend Daniels Summit for Snowmobiling if you’re anywhere near Heber, UT! The staff was the absolute best, especially when we got a snowmobile or two stuck. From the first phone call, to the in-person experience, the staff was the most friendly, helpful, genuine and honest. And the trails were amazing, beautiful and majestic. What a breathtaking 4 hour ride!
