Jumpingoat Coffee Roasters - Helen

I stopped by for a coffee and ordered the house blend. It was terrible—burnt and bitter. Such a disappointment! All I wanted was a nice cup of coffee. The staff member was pleasant, but I really don't understand how this place gets 5-star ratings. Food: 1/5.

The restaurant has unusual hours and closes early. I'm not sure if it was just the time we visited, but there were no options for kids. It would be great if they updated the menu and always had hot chocolate available for colder days. On the positive side, the coffee was hot and delicious. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.

It was a charming spot, and the coffee selection was impressive! They had a special offer where you could buy three coffees and get the fourth one for free, which we took advantage of. My only complaint is that the free samples were limited to just the Signature Blend and a coconut flavor. Both were tasty, but we were hoping for a few more options to sample. Other than that, it was a really enjoyable place to visit!

These reviews confuse the two locations (which are only a few miles apart). This location is on the Chattahoochee River just outside of Helen and across the street from Habersham Winery. Beautiful rippling river runs right behind it. If you are looking for the open views of Mount Yonah mentioned on some reviews, check the other location that includes tasting room in the name. I'd give this locations 5 but coffee places that don't open until 10 will never get a 5 from me. Other location has better hours.

Unbelievably Awesome Coffee Shop!Products absolutely top notch!! The smell when you walk in hits you like a warm wall of coffee, espresso, and every note of everything amazing you can think of. They have a side of whole beans (Colombia, Mexican, Espresso, etc) and a ground side with flavors (pecan brown sugar, etc). They have candies and chocolates and other neat things to shop. After getting bag home and brewing the beans...... AMAZING!!!!Scene not only do they have great roasters and products, but they brew coffee on site and a beautiful deck to overlook the river. Perfect place to get a warm cup on a cold day in Helen next to the majestic river.Service very friendly, very helpful, and descriptive about the different blends and coffee.Value good value, especially for local roasters and a chance to support the businesses that are not corporate.Overall hit this place up on your way in to Helen!!! The smell and beans alone are worth it
