Soda Jerks Ice Cream Shoppe - Helen

This is the absolute worst part of my whole vacation. After waiting in line for 25 minutes we finally make it to the front for them to say they had no regular hot chocolate, just the white cocoa left. Okay fine we get that-5 hot cocoas and 2 hot apple ciders was our order. It took another 15 mins for the slowest moving human I’ve ever seen make our drinks. Each cup had a different amount of milk in it and each had a different amount of awful powdered cocoa mix. 3/5 drink were thrown away and I choked mine down because we paid $50 dollars for this garbage. If they could get off FaceTime with friends and focus on their job things may be different.

Stopped in to get some ice cream. They were out of a lot of flavors. My husband and I ordered the exact same thing however his was filled past the lid and mine was only filled 3/4 of the way. The lady was nice but I would prefer to have close to equal servings and I probably should have said something but didn't. The good thing was that it was not crowded and we could get in and out pretty quickly!

The dippin dots at this restaurant are fresh and tasty, although they are not the most affordable option. The birthday cake flavor had crunchy bits in it, but unfortunately, it was not clearly labeled.

I visited this restaurant last weekend while on a day trip to Helen with my family. I must admit, I had low expectations based on the reviews, but we were all pleasantly surprised! Everything we ordered was delicious. The mango smoothie with strawberry popping boba was particularly outstanding - possibly the best popping boba drink I've ever had. I highly recommend it! My husband's chocolate malt with extra, extra, extra malt was made perfectly, and the sundae was also very good. Despite there only being one person working, the service was a bit slow, but she was very kind and made everything with care. We will definitely return for a treat the next time we are in town!

This place is now operating at “ The Sugar Shack”… we stopped in for Boba because my 4 year old loves it.Skip the boba! It nothing short of awful! I threw away my coffee milk tea because it tasted sour. The mango was sooo sweet it left a terrible after taste.The best part was the scoop of vanilla ice cream we ordered.The service was terribly slow.With all the options in Helen for ice cream I would recommend another location for sure.
