Good food and friendly fast service.Would have enjoyed some authentic Mexican music, not sure if they had just forgotten to turn it on or what.

The food is great, service is a bit slow and we had a 30 min wait to be seated. The bar is nice while you’re waiting.

The flavor of my food was very good. My visit was very rushed by the wait staff because they were busy, seating is limited with such a small space, and there was one experienced waitress and one young inex perienced girl. Too much work for such a short staff situation. Management needs to reassess their building space to accommodate their volume of customers.

Melaques has amazing authentic Mexican dishes. Best in Helena. Family-owned and operated. I've been coming here for more than 20 years and always enjoy the food, atmosphere, and people. They first bring you complimentary tortilla chips and house-made salsa. The Sizzling Fajitas are my go-to favorite dish. Also, the margaritas are yummy. Right next door is 4J's bar and casino for more drinks and keno. Fyi, it does get busy on Friday night so expect to wait a little bit to get a table. It's worth the wait!
