Marina Pizzeria - Helena Bay

We just wanted a pizza for dinner so decided to try here. Had read reviews on othe sites a d thought we have to try for ourselves. First impressions weren't good as the you6girl behind the the servery wasn't particularly friendly ssying there was a 45 minute wait. My wife questioned this as the seating srea wasn't that full. However things changed for the better when our waitress arrived, she was very pleasant and friendly, served our drinks and entree quickly and efficiently with a smile znd some light banter. After entree was finished and another drink served the pizza arrived to our surprise, only around 30 minutes which was fine. It was a very good pizza. Takeaway is also an option, so don't be put off.

Great pizza but they also do steaks, chicken and pork dishes which are very tastey indeed. The full rack of ribs is amazing and comes with a very generous helping of chips and salad at a very reasonable price.<br/ They setting of the restaurant next to the marina is very relaxing. It is quite nice on a sunny day to have some nibbles and a beer and look at the boats.<br/ <br/ The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome.

Wonderful casual meal enjoyed here in the quiet season. Delicious pizzas, good value drinks and very friendly service. Their home made breads were to die for and great to take home for nibblies platter. We will return!

FANTASTIC... We had our girls lunch here on Easter Sunday, great service, great food and best of all NO surcharge! Can take your own wine! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful... We will be back

Was weary due to the mediocre rating, but this was a great experience… super service and even better sourdough pizza. Do it. Ignore the bad reviews.
