This is a lovely place to come for a coffee and especially a toastie. Their toasties are immense and so so tasty. We also had the ham and lentil soup which was good and tasty and a cream scone. The scone was very good, served warm (freshly baked) and not too crumbly so well made. Down point was not using any local jam but hey ho. We are definitely going to be back and really want to try one of their evening meals. Staff were nice and friendly. Good service. Highly recommend going if in the area.

Great food, atmosphere and amazing views over the Gare Loch. They have a good evening menu from Wednesday until Saturday. Thanks Guys for an amazing afternoon will definitely be back

Oh wow, HMD is definitely worth a visit! It's only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, but it's absolutely worth it. The service is personal and friendly, and the food is fantastic—all locally sourced.

Fantastic experience overall! The fig chutney was incredible. The staff were very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend the Ploughman’s lunch for two; it was absolutely delicious. Plus, the view of the water was beautiful!
