Emily's - HELENSVALE

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. First of all, the staff was incredibly unprofessional—they even told me to leave. The employees had dark hair, were quite small in stature, and had noticeable marks on their faces. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the lack of respect, as I believe that hospitality should prioritize respectful customer service, which was clearly lacking here. Additionally, I was concerned about safety and hygiene; I noticed that the workers were handling food with their bare hands, which is totally unacceptable. If this continues, I may have to report this situation to fair labor authorities.

The coffee was hardly drinkable, and they charged a fee of 10 cents for takeaway.

Fantastic café in the heart of Helensvale! The food and coffee are excellent, with a wide variety to choose from. The staff is friendly and the service is outstanding!

So a beautiful cafe. the coffee was just right and the walnut salad and the cheesecake was delicious. Many thanks, very pleasant.

One of the employees who’s name was “Emily”, hopefully not the owner, served me at the counter, twice I saw her use the top of her shirt for a tissue to wipe her nose! She then continued on to make orders of food ! Far out, I thought hygiene standards had improved in the world! Not here at Emily’s!
