Barraca - Hemel Hempstead

So many vegan choices for a non-vegan restaurant! Be sure to specify your choice as vegan though otherwise you may end up with Parmesan on your risotto! They are very obliging though and happy to help. The food is absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend. We have celebrated two birthdays there so far and will def be going back again.

This is a unique, mostly vegan restaurant located in the unexpected area of Hemel.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I would give it a 5-star rating if I could. The decor was stunning! I will definitely revisit on my next trip to Hemel Hampstead. I thoroughly enjoyed every vegan option I tried, starting with the mushroom soup and hummus, and ending with the falafel burger as my main dish.

The restaurant offers a dedicated section on their menu for vegan dishes, with a variety of around 10 appetizers and main courses. I have visited this place multiple times and have enjoyed all of my meals. The service has been excellent on both visits, including a friendly chef who came out to greet us. Although I am sad that Vegan Spartan is no longer open, I am happy to see that its replacement continues to provide a fantastic selection of vegan options. This is definitely one of the top choices for vegan dining in the area.

Simply amazing meal. I went for the lamb and it was only melted in her mouth delicious! sweet were incredibly delicious! and the service was of course fantastic! even if the cook came out and gave our table free, gave us the chance to thank him personally! one must visit when they are local:
