Overall, it was a lovely meal to enjoy after migration. However, there was a hiccup with my mother's order as they forgot to prepare her banh mi. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes longer for her meal, which was a bit frustrating. Although they offered a refund, my mom was quite hungry, so we decided to wait. They kindly compensated us with complimentary ice cream, which was a nice touch. One thing to note is that I strongly suspect there was MSG in the food, as I experienced a typical reaction afterward. It might be worth asking for no MSG when placing your order. This review is an update from my previous one on April 22, 2022.
We ordered the tofu pho (no modifications needed, as it’s already vegan) and received a giant bowl filled to the brim. You really get a lot for a low price! The tables were equipped with hoisin sauce and hot sauce, perfect for adding a little extra flavor if desired. We also tried the noodles with tofu, requesting no egg rolls and substituting the fish sauce with soy sauce. It was pretty good, but the pho was definitely the star of the meal. They mentioned that the tofu-luscious banh mi sandwich can be made vegan by omitting the mayo/aioli, though we didn't try it ourselves. Overall, we would definitely come back!
They have great prices. I ordered the tofu banh mi without mayo and the sunset tea, which is peach tea with raspberries and mango. I will definitely return to try the pho and the noodle plate.
I ordered the pho and the tofu bánh mì sandwiches, and I really enjoyed the bánh mì (just remember to ask for no mayo if you're vegan). The pho isn’t the best I’ve had, but it’s decent. I also love their boba teas, especially the Bad and Boujee tea, which is quite tasty, though it can be too sweet if you don’t request less syrup.
We stumbled at this place and went in to see if they were vegan options and right there at the entrance were the magnificent words we love to see “Vegan options”. Under little bites we tried the vegetastically roll’d (spring rolls) and they were some of the best spring rolls we had in a long time! Looks like they also have garlic tofu that would be vegan. We did the tofu pho (not need to make any cuts - it is already vegan) and it was a GIANT bowl of it. Seriously so much food for the low price day. They have hoisin sauce and hot sauce on the tables, in any case a bit in taste must be hunted. We also tried the noodles with tofu and do not ask for egg rolls and replace the fish sauce with soy sauce. It was pretty good, but the Pho was much better. You can also use the tofu-liscious banh mi sandwich, without Mayo/ aioli. We didn't try it, but they said it could be made vegan. Overall, we would definitely come back.
