Yen's Chinese - Hempfield Twp

I understand it's a chinese restaurant, but NOBODY in the building speaks fluent english. which makes it hard to convey your wants specifically when they don't understand you. They don't let you make substitutions. Literally wanted pork fried rice instead of white rice and they said i would have to purchase a whole order at $5.95 if i wanted that substitution.

This place is super clean. Great food. I ordered the veggie lo mein and it was spicy, not sure if it is supposed to be spicy. The general tso, and steamed veggies were so good! Very tender and moise. The scallion pancake was really good but very oily. Overall a good place.

I've only ever had the buffet, and the food is good and a good value. They only put out a few dishes, but the quality is better than most chinese buffets. I'll take that trade.

I love this place! The owner is so sweet! The food is fresh. The place is so clean! I love the chicken fried rice. They know I work at the hospital and stayed late to make me dinner. I really appreciate them! Great service always...but even more during the pandemic! Love them!

The staff is always so friendly Go out of their way for special dietary needs. My GO to spot when on the Greengate side of town.
