Zen Coffee - Henderson

My experience today was truly astonishing, but not in a good way. There was a teenage employee whose attitude was absolutely terrible. He got my order wrong and then insisted that I was mistaken. When I asked for a refund and mentioned that the owner probably wouldn't be pleased with the service, he bluntly replied that he didn't care because the place was closing soon. He even went on to talk poorly about the establishment. While the coffee is decent, I will never return to this place! It's disappointing to see a small business relying on disgruntled employees who clearly don't care about their job. There are plenty of other coffee options out there—best to avoid this one!

I regret to give this coffee shop a one-star rating. The iced chai was fantastic, the peanut butter and banana toast was exceptional, and the quiche, although a bit cold inside, had a delicious flavor. Unfortunately, the reason for my low rating is the behavior of one employee. We visited on 2/23 around 11:30/noon, and there was a young male employee with long curly hair who didn't have a name tag on. His attitude was incredibly rude! He didn’t acknowledge us with a "thank you" and seemed annoyed while we were ordering, as if we were inconveniencing him. We did tip because the female employee was very friendly, but this male staff member clearly dislikes his job, and that needs to be addressed. Regrettably, we won’t be returning, as I’d prefer to pay for average chai and food in a more enjoyable atmosphere. I’m truly disappointed!

I absolutely loved this coffee shop! It’s spacious and cozy, creating a great atmosphere. They offer an excellent selection of food and drinks. My friend and I shared a variety of items, and I enjoyed a tea latte while he had a latte. Everything was delicious!

This place is great and the staff is friendly. It sounded like they get a lot of the same group of people here which is really amazing to see! It would be a great place to work, study, or have a book club meeting. I had the almond mocha latte with oat milk and it was soooo good. Def recommend!

What a great find! I decided to check this place out for a coffee before having brunch nearby. Located in a popular business complex, there is ample parking. Hours are clearly posted on the door. When walking in, I also noticed a dog bowl and toy on the ground for furry friends. I don't think I'd let my dog share a toy but I love that they have it available. I was greeted very warmly by a really nice employee (she may have been the owner? . I asked her which sauces were vegan and she personally double checked, which was awesome as most people would just guess. I ordered the large hot toasted almond mocha with oat milk. It was great! Very nice strong espresso flavor (which I like and was not too sweet. Usually I like sweeter, but I didn't mind that this one wasn't. I was here around 9:30 on a Saturday, and was surprised how busy it was. Almost every table was taken! There is a mix of booth and table seating. I sat at a table due to what was available. I will say the wicker chairs were not very comfy, but if you were coming here for work it would be nice. I did log on and test the wifi twice and it was a speed of 12.2 Mbps and later 18 download speed, which is pretty slow, so not sure if I'd do any video meetings here. Definitely will return!
