Feedback gevenFirst visit, waitress was very informative, and suggestive about the menu and drinks. The food quality and taste was superb will definitely return to this restaurant.
For Father’s Day, my wife wanted to treat me and the kids to lunch at the Smashin’ Crab. She checked the website in advance and found a statement where they “absolutely do not accept reservations.” So, we made plans to arrive early with our party of 10. When we arrived, more than half of the restaurant was empty, but were told it would be a 45 minute wait. While waiting, the hostess asked every guest that entered if they had reservations, something the website clearly stated they did not take. After an hour of waiting, we approached the hostess stand and were told that the empty tables were all being held for reservations. Instead of telling us from the onset that they had no intention of seating us or letting us know the wait would be several hours OR putting advertising on their website about the need for reservations, they instead wasted our time for over an hour. Furthermore, when I asked to speak to the manager, she was too busy to come and speak to us. This has to be some of the worst customer service ever. Four restaurants have come and gone in this location. If the entire staff isn’t replaced, it will soon be 5.
The food is great!!! The atmosphere is great and so are the employees, if your looking for the best seafood around and ready for an upgrade try smachin crab
