Little Shoo - Henley Beach

We just finished our Christmas show, and this place is incredible!

Beautiful location interior with lovely views. Attended for brunch on a Sunday. Served relatively quickly, however our meals took an hour and a half to arrive! There was no communication from the wait staff about the wait time or whereabouts of our order. I had to approach the staff on multiple occasions to kindly ask how much longer we’d have to wait. At no point throughout the wait for our food did the staff check in with us to see if we needed more drinks or apologise for the extended wait time. When the food did eventually arrive, it was enjoyable however some mistakes were noted (eggs came poached when ordered scrambled, missing items on plate). Our issue wasn’t just the huge wait time, but the way it was handled. Even more disappointing that the owners were present and didn’t once apologise for the wait or offer anything for compensation. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

Came with friends. Very popular place. Three coffees and shared a poached pair which was very large. It came in a really nice syrup and ice cream also a plate of houlmi fried and alioli. Very nice food

The food was terrible, and to make matters worse, the owners were completely reprehensible! I had to click 1 star to submit this review, but honestly, I wouldn't even give this place that.

Nice atmosphere, great views. It was nice to have the chef come over to have a chat to us and see how everything was going. Food was very presentable but I found it to lack the flavors that I expected. Overall a nice experience.
