This is quirky, charming and excellent old country pub. It's all low beams and tiny rooms with vintage photos on the walls, and well worth a drive out to Stoke Row for the high quality food. The Crooked Billet also does one of the best Sunday Roasts I've had: top quality ingredients, perfectly-cooked roast beef and very attentive service.
