Alexander's Bbq - Henrico

A beloved West End spot on Patterson Ave, this restaurant exudes a nostalgic charm reminiscent of a bygone era. Its ambiance reflects a simpler time, contributing to its unique appeal.

Classic BBQ at its finest. However, the side of coleslaw was a bit small for the price of $1.49.

The pulled meat was over-sauced and overly shredded. It had a texture and taste as if it had been left in a slow cooker for far too long. The chicken had a strange seasoning, possibly cinnamon. The beans and coleslaw were quite basic, perhaps even pre-packaged. The rolls reminded me of those served in a school cafeteria—cheap and lacking in flavor. There are many better BBQ options available, so I wouldn't recommend dining here.
