Jamaica Jerk Pit - Henrico

The Curry Chicken is consistently outstanding. It's a great value and delicious! This was my first time trying the Curry Shrimp, and let me tell you—YOU NEED TO GET IT NOW! It's $20, but it tastes like it's worth $50. Trust me, your taste buds will be thrilled!

The Brown Stew Chicken was quite good, though there was still a bitter taste lingering. Aside from that, it could have been a perfect dish if it were a bit sweeter. The Coco bread was soft and sweet, which was lovely, and the plantains were also excellent. The rice and peas were fantastic. Overall, I would give it a rating of 3.5 out of 5.

This is the best Jamaican food I have ever tasted! I've tried five other places both in town and out of town, and this one stands out as the best by far. The food is incredibly fresh—nothing like the other spots where the dishes feel days old. Everything here is just perfect. The jerk chicken, curry chicken, brown stew chicken, curry goat, and oxtails are all amazing. The Jamaican beef patties, chicken patties, and coco bread are absolutely delicious too!

The hubby and I really enjoy their ox tail and Curry Chicken meals. I wouldve never thought they woud out do Carreans on Midothian. But they did. Food was delish! This location is closier to where I live also.

10/10 The workers here are wonderful and even on doordash they alwys prepare the food so well, it gets here in a timely manner. The Chicken patty and coco bread are my fav. Definitely order from here
