Panera Bread - Henrico

The service here is consistently excellent, and the staff is very friendly. The only downside was that my Fuji Apple salad didn't have any apples in it. Other than that, everything was great as usual.

Great place to plug in your laptop and get some work done while grabbing a bite to eat. Food is always ready super fast, both in store and in the drive thru. Friendly staff all around. They have self-order kiosks inside too.

I love Panera and eat there whenever possible. My only complaint was that the scoop of Mac and cheese from the pick 2 seemed ridiculously small...minor problem for an overall great experience. The service was outstanding from start to finish and the employee helping clean might have been the nicest guy I've ever seen in a Panera. I overheard him explaining the tea options to a woman and he kindly came over and offered to clear our plates when we were finished. Outstanding service on his part and he did it with a smile on his face. If I make it back there I will single him out to the manager and commend his exceptional service!

My girlfriend paid $7 for a British bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, and it arrived cold. When she asked if they could warm it up, they told her to use the microwave herself. If we wanted to heat up a breakfast sandwich in the microwave, wouldn't we have done that ourselves?

This review pertains specifically to the VCU location. The young woman at the register clearly didn't want to be there, and it was evident in her interaction with me. I ordered some bagels, which came in various flavors. However, the restaurant and the area behind the counter appeared unclean. The staff could really benefit from a refresh in their approach. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this place, even though I live just three minutes away. What a disappointment.
