Sweet Frog - Henrico

I didn’t notice until now that I gave a 3-star rating instead of 4. The main reason for this is the lack of staff during my visit, which added stress to the employee present, and it was quite evident. The dessert was delicious, with plenty of toppings, but the staffing situation at that time could have been better. I appreciate the owner’s offer to make things right, but I’ll definitely return, with or without a discount. The frozen yogurt is incredible, and that’s why I frequent this store.

This store is quite good. It's always clean and well-organized, and they offer a nice variety of yogurt. However, one thing that really bothers me is the tip jar at the cash register. Tipping is usually reserved for individuals who provide a service, like waitstaff, bellhops, or taxi drivers. These people receive tips because they offer a direct service to customers. The staff at Sweet Frog don't really provide that kind of service; they simply keep the items organized and clean—it's part of their job. When they ring you up at the register, that's also just their job. Do you tip the cashier at a grocery store for scanning your items? I think the tip jar should be removed.

The restaurant was closed for lunch yesterday, but they had weatherproof metal tables and a few chairs set up on the sidewalk. I was sitting at one of the tables, waiting for food from the place next door, when a lady who worked there came out and told us we weren't allowed to sit there. It's hard to believe, especially since they weren't even open. She asked me and another gentleman at a nearby table to leave. I'm still trying to wrap my head around that situation.

They ran out of lids, so I had to use their saran wrap from a dirty box. Almost changed my mind. Then they turned the machine around so I could Sign, and it forced me to give the cashier a tip!! What about a discount for no lid?

Best SWEET FROG EVER Chole is AWESOME She Has the Best Customer Service I Have seen Since the Pandemic lol She greeted me in and out the door and my two little boys loved her !!! It was My oldest Birthday : the establishment was very clean and my kids loved their frozen yogurt . Thank you Sooo much Chole for making our experience GREAT : !!
