Hereford Wellington Garden Centre

I went to this restaurant for breakfast and had the full English breakfast, which was excellent. It was nice to have the option of a small or large portion. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it.

Lunch orders are taken starting at noon. We waited 25 minutes for our simple sandwiches, while others who ordered after us were served their hot food first, which was a bit odd. The sandwiches were supposed to come with "salad," but in reality it was just a single cherry tomato (halved), two slices of cucumber, and a small handful of salad leaves with no dressing. This definitely did not meet the definition of a salad. I would probably skip trying the pricier dishes here, as there seems to be a high chance of being disappointed.

Nothing better than a spot of garden centre shopping before settling down to some lunch! A well presented menu can cause problems. Great choices, so, which one to go for? Maybe next time I shall take a coin and simply toss heads or tails whichever comes down will be good. A delightful selection of cakes too,mm..

Today, I took my two granddaughters to the Wellington Cafe for lunch. One of my granddaughters has food allergies, so I asked if they could make an egg sandwich for her even though it wasn't on the menu. The friendly ladies at the counter happily agreed to make the sandwich, showing such a helpful attitude. We all enjoyed a delicious lunch and the service was excellent as well. I would definitely recommend this cafe. Thank you to the lovely staff for a great experience.
