The Old Stables

An exceptional fishing and chip removal. we had squid and chips and we agreed that they were some of the best we ever had. fish was boneless and perfectly cooked. chips were excellent. large portion size. they make a whole series of kebabs, burgers etc., but. I can't comment on it. I would strongly recommend it.

We lived in a local house. two adult and three children. simply drove for hours and very happy to our fish and chips. the fish was excellent. Cod and haddock in a rice. no oil and not boiled over. could have just left. for more. the chips leave the side down. they were small, cold and hard and had no malt vinegar. cost in everything, so probably won't get back.

We were on the road in a shepherds hat and go minutes to get our fishing and chips. I've never had a village chip shop so busy! we ordered our while we sit outside the dog inn minutes waiting, that is how good...and popular they are) we have nothing against as we planned for an evening in the pub. they will even call them out the window when they tell them their sitting outside the dog!!! the cod and chips were fantastic a cheaper would definitely recommend this place.

Recently became our local chippy, gets a bit busy on Friday but well worth the wait. Excellent fish chips.
