The Old Stables Fish And Chips

A fabulous fish and chip supper tonight, we had a takeaway that stayed crispy and hot till we arrived home, the fish was thick and delicious with a very tasty batter and the chips plentiful and cooked golden brown, not a thing left when we finished, very enjoyable and many thanks to Marcus and thd team for the prompt service. We'll be back soon.

The queue outside moved quickly. Service was friendly and efficient. The chips were excellent and the portions huge. Great value for money.

Would have been useful if your Christmas closure details were updated on Google to prevent a wasted journey from Hereford!

Best fish and chips in Herefordshire and luckily for me only a few minutes drive away.

Drove from Hereford to try the food. If I remember rightly, Marcus I think his name is) he use to come around the village i lived in as a kid . Food was incredible on his mobile van then and I'm pretty sure he owns and runs this shop now . Absolutely incredible, better than all the fish and chip shops in Hereford . Amazing ! This is now our new takeaway favourite. Totally worth the drive .
