Nashville Shores Marina - Hermitage

My husband and I went with friends April 10th. The food was so good my husband and I went again April 14th. The service was great. I would highly recommend Papa Turney's to anyone.

I would rate Papa Turney 's as a very good 'mom pop bbq place, but not the best I have experienced. Service was outstanding...very friendly. They give you plenty of food for your money. Very tasty but a bit overcooked for my liking. I like 'fall off the bone ' meat, but this was a bit too fall off the bone and a bit drier than I like. That said, I ate all of my 3 meat combo without any problem, along with some very good baked beans and mac cheese (again, very good but not exceptional). The place is small and they play music on certain days (not when we were there), which I suspect makes it a bit crowded, unless it is nice enough to eat on their outdoor patio. I would definitely go back if I were in the area.

They have a barbecue restaurant there the food is incredible where I live there is a lot of barbecue available and it's generally mediocre I had a plate with three different kinds of barbecue and each item was super delicious. Place is out of the way but it's well worth a trip

Me and my brother happened upon this place! Peaceful atmosphere and friendly owner! Super good prices for barbeque too

I brought my boat out for a test run and encountered some issues with the steering wheel being tight. It is currently in the shop, but I hope to get back out on the water soon for some fishing. I'll be sure to post some pictures.
