I was hungry so I ate much of it, but felt the waitress mgr needed to know. She said she told the manager. The manager did not come over to discuss and did not compensate in any way not even dessert or apology and thank you for letting them know. In addition, our water glass sat empty for much of the service, waitress forgot our salad, brown rice the music was a tad too loud. Sadly, we will think twice before eating here again.
The grilled chicken gave me something to think about, it didn't look like a chicken but a grilled parrot. The chili was just onion, garlic, milk, and lemon. No huacatay. The aguadito was so pale that it was missing a lot of cilantro. So you have been warned.
This place has always been our go-to for great Peruvian food. Generally everything is fresh and tasty. We are especially fans of the Aji de Gallina. Some of the best in the city. Recently, though, I had a bad experience with the dish tasting very rancid. Had to send the dish back. Luckily, the staff were extremely professional and accommodating about it. They were apologetic and politely replaced our meals. The replacements were good. Overall, a great spot. Would recommend.
My favorite dish for the past 25 years is Papa Huancaina! $15.00At this particular restaurant, I did not care for one bit! I am very much love the one they have in Torrance. That is my favorite Pollo Inca.
