Greenspot - Hermosa Beach

This restaurant is relatively new, having recently changed from Greenbelt to Greenspot and only being open for a few months. The 5-star reviews that can be found are actually for the previous restaurant that was in this location, under different ownership. On a beautiful Memorial Day weekend, the restaurant was empty except for one other couple. Despite the lack of customers, we decided to give it a try as we were too hungry to wait at other restaurants with long lines. When we sat down, the sun was shining brightly and we attempted to adjust the umbrella to block the sun ourselves, but a staff member rushed out and yelled at us not to touch it. After a tense encounter, a friendly waitress took over and provided us with great service. As we enjoyed our meal, the same staff member made disrespectful comments to us and other customers. This led us to leave the restaurant, but not before overhearing him criticizing customers as they left. Despite the unpleasant experience with this particular staff member, the food was delicious and we felt welcome and well-fed. Thank you to the kind waitress who made our visit enjoyable despite the negative interactions with the staff member at Greenspot restaurant.

The food at this restaurant has a fresh and healthy taste! Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed for reconstruction. Can't wait to see what changes are in store!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! I usually don't leave reviews, but this place is worth it. Alex was a fantastic server and suggested the original Marys sandwich, which was delicious. The service was top-notch and the food was incredibly fresh. I will definitely be coming back!

I liked greenbelt, but I'm a little torn. the flat plate was delicious! the mushroom pizza, however, was somewhat disappointing. a good culinary experience. Oh, the waitress brought me to a delicious IPO beer?

Greenbelt has amazing fresh healthy food and spectacular service! We will be back!
