Great spot with an interesting concept. The cookies were quite tasty, but the ice was even better. We definitely plan to return for an ice sandwich!

Absolutely delicious ice cream! I tried the brownie and chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich filled with mint chip ice cream, and it was definitely worth the calories! They also offer pup cups for just $0.50, which include whipped cream and dog treats. It was really busy on a Saturday night, but I expected that. The service was quick, and the team behind the counter was incredibly helpful.

Finding the place wasn't too difficult after circling a few times around the nearby buildings. For the first time, we experienced the unique concept of ice cream sandwiches here at Baked Bear, located just a short walk from Hermosa Beach. The venue is clean and well-organized, promoting social distancing, and they provide simple instructions for creating your ice cream sandwiches or choosing from their Bear Bowls. Each Bear Bowl features a homemade cookie crust at the bottom, allowing you to select your favorite ice cream and top it off with an array of choices. While the cookie sandwich is self-explanatory, they have a helpful chalkboard guide above the serving counter. The young woman who assisted us was polite and professional. Although it can be a slow process on your first visit, she was patient and accommodating. We’re definitely planning to return for round two in the near future.

This place specializes in making your own ice cream sandwiches with either brownies or cookies or both. The food was pretty good and I would recommend it as a novelty as a whole. The ice was nothing super-Tantalizing, but that's why I had 4 stars. The parking lot can also be very difficult to find here especially late in the night.

My favorite part about going to the Baked Bear is the smell when you walk in it’s the definition of love at first smell. I was torn on what to get so I decided to try the cookie of the month (which is just the cookies and cream cookie but with blue dye as you can see it’s Cookie Monster vibes) with the expresso ice cream. I absolutely loved the richness of flavor of the expresso ice cream with sweetness of the cookie highly recommend! The other one I decided to try was the original cookies and cream cookie with butter brittle cake ice cream SO GOOD! No matter the combination you decide you can’t go wrong not to mention the customer service I received was amazing shout out to Josh! Can’t wait to come back.
