My first visit to Balcan was on January, we were celebrating a friend's birthday and chose Balcán because of the many recommendations we had by other friends.The most interesting part for me has been being exposed to so many ingredients and styles i simply never had the chance to try before. There is a passion and excellence by the Chef Mike and his team to reach a taste where other restaurants are not even trying. By far, one of the best alternatives for amazing food in Hermosillo.

I love this place. In the three months I've known about it I've been back 10 times. I've been in Mexico long enough to see great restaurants goto ****. I feel this place will be different. 1) I've seen the love, passion, and anxiety the chef/owners have for this place. This place is not about selling the cheapest meal 100 times a day. This place is for 20-30 customers a day but the best food.2) Mikes a real experienced chef. He's creative and tries different flavors.You're going to enjoy whatever you get. I promise.
